My little girl loves pink. She wants pink everything. I thought I had grown out of that stage myself, but lately I find myself fascinated by anything pink. And I see it more and more in different designs from all over the world.
If you are a shabby chic kind of of girl you might go for the soft rose-colored pink. Nothing creates an atmosphere of romance like a palette of dusty pinks.
Personally I love the clear pink. The pink that will put you in a happy, flirty, fun mood. The pink that is just a little bit "over-the-top" pink. But then again, I'm a little "over-the-top" kind of girl.
If you are bold, use it as backdrop to dramatic furniture or on the furniture itself. If you want to quiet it down just a little bit (and not get to committed), put a splash of color around the room using accent pieces.
I'll hope you'll be inspired.
